Chalk Couture™ loves to recognize the incredible efforts and accomplishments of Designers! We recognize standout performance many ways throughout the year, but our highlight of recognition occurs at ChalkCon with our Event-Year Awards.
EVENT-YEAR AWARDS
The Chalk Couture event year runs from June 1 to May 31. ChalkCon typically being held in early/mid-summer allows time for finalization of all performance and title achievements for Chalk Central to prepare name badge recognition, onstage recognition, and awards.
To be recognized for event-year achievements, a Designer must be registered and present at ChalkCon. Other criteria may apply, per category. Specific awards may vary but typically include onstage recognition, an engraved pillar award, and in some cases, a cash or product bonus.
Event-year awards include the following:
Legends Awards Legends Awards recognize Designers who have surpassed “traditional” achievements and are truly in a league of their own. Legends designations honor the dedication, daring, and panache that elevates individuals and the Chalk Couture brand.
Sales Legend Determined by lifetime achievement of $1,000,000 USD retail or more in personal sales. Sales Legends are recognized annually once achieving Legends status, and are no longer recognized in Top PV, or Top Chalk Site sales categories.
Sponsoring Legend Determined by lifetime achievement of 1,000 or more personally sponsored. Sponsoring Legends are recognized annually once achieving Legends status, and are no longer recognized in the Top Sponsor category.
Top Personal Volume Recognized in retail dollar value. Top 10 places recognized.
Top Sponsoring Determined by highest number of Personally Sponsored first-level Team members who are active as of the end of the event year. Top 10 places recognized.
Top Team Performance Recognition for highest Team Volume, levels 1 through 3, inclusive of self, during the event year, in retail dollar value. Three top winners in seven categories are recognized according to Team size. This category of award is separated by Team sizes so that Chalk Couture can recognize outstanding Teams of all different stages of growth. Size of Team is calculated as of the last day of the measurement period (May 31 for ChalkCon-year recognition). Note: The Team leader’s Personal Volume may not constitute 50% or more of the overall TV in order to be eligible for this recognition.
Top Enterprise Performance Recognition for Top Enterprise Volume including self plus infinite levels of depth for the event year; noted in retail dollar value. The recognized leader must hold the title of Master Mentor or higher by the close of the event year Top 3 places recognized.
Top Promoter Leader with the most first-time Level 1 promotions to Mentor during the event year. Level 1 Team members must be Designers in good standing at the end of the event year, but do not have to have Mentor + title. Top 5 places recognized.
Top Personally Sponsored Volume Leader with the highest PSV of those they have personally sponsored during the event year. Top 5 places recognized.
Top Chalk Site Designer with the highest Personal Volume on their Chalk Site during the event year. Top 5 places recognized.
Top Club Couture Performer Determined by highest number of new Club Couture subscribers.
Top Watts of Love® Lightmaker Designer with the top Watts of Love donations remitted through Chalk Couture–approved donation methods during the event year. Top 5 places recognized.
Start the Spark Award Given to three “firestarters” who glow and go in the first two years of their business: starting strong with recruiting, Personal Volume, and positive activity in the community. Winners are selected by Chalk Central not only for business performance, but for their support of others, genuineness, and excellence in being a brand ambassador of the values of Chalk Couture. Each winner receives a $500 cash prize. Start the Spark nominees/winners must have enrolled no more than two years prior. Winners must be registered and present at ChalkCon to win. Once nominations are open, any Designer can nominate one or more other Designers for these awards, regardless of whether they are registered for ChalkCon. Candidates will be nominated by Designers and finalized by Chalk Central.
Luminary Leader Award Chalk Couture’s most prestigious annual award, given to a standout pillar of our community. Winner is selected based on extraordinary positivity, heart, leadership, vision, and character that is evident to customers, to Team members, and to Chalk Central, particularly in interactions with Designer Services. This individual demonstrates persistence with a smile, and radiates a light worthy of being called “luminary.” Winner receives a $3,000 cash prize. Winner must be registered and present at ChalkCon to win. Once nominations are open, any Designer can nominate one or more other Designers for this award, regardless of whether they are registered for ChalkCon. Candidates will be nominated by Designers and finalized by Chalk Central.
CALENDAR-YEAR RECOGNITION
Chalk Couture knows that great performance happens throughout the year and that, occasionally, top performers are unable to attend ChalkCon. That’s why we also recognize and publish top achievements for each calendar year, January 1 to December 31. All active Designers are eligible to receive recognition for calendar-year performance, regardless of event attendance.
Calendar-year recognition is highlighted in Magnifique Mag, our monthly online recognition publication.
Highlighted calendar-year recognition includes the following:
Top Personal Volume Recognized in retail dollar value. Top 10 places recognized.
Top Sponsoring Determined by highest number of Personally Sponsored first-level Team members who are active as of the end of the calendar year. Top 10 places recognized.
Top Team Performance Recognition for highest Team Volume, levels 1 through 3, inclusive of self, during the calendar year, in retail dollar value.
