What is the ChalkStyle customer newsletter?
ChalkStyle is a fun and functional email newsletter that will include how-to videos, DIY inspiration, and tips and techniques for creators.
Why is Chalk Central launching ChalkStyle?
Direct-to-consumer communication is one of the best ways to build lasting relationships with customers and we want to support your efforts as a marketer. The newsletter will help to ensure that your customers are consistently reminded of Chalk Couture™ products and the amazing creative potential we offer.
How often will it be published?
ChalkStyle will be sent to subscribers once a month beginning in February 2022.
Will my name and Chalk Site information be included in the newsletter?
No, but if your customers are connected to your Chalk Site, they’ll automatically be directed there when they click links included in the newsletter (the most recent site they’ve shopped from). It’s easy, sales-driving, customer connection for you! The newsletter will come from Chalk Central, so make sure your customers know your name and how to find your Chalk Site. The newsletter is technique-focused but will include links to purchase products. When your customers click a link in ChalkStyle they’ll be directed to the last Chalk Site they were browsing or shopping from.
Do my customers need to subscribe to the email?
That depends. We will automatically send the email to all US customers who have placed an order on a Chalk Site in the last 4 months, to all new customers who order going forward, and to all Club Couture™ members. However, to make sure your customers don’t miss out, please encourage all your customers, followers, and friends to subscribe. (We will not send duplicate messages.)
NOTE: In adherence to Canadian CAN-SPAM regulations, ALL Canadian customers will need to subscribe. Chalk Central will not automatically include current customers in the ChalkStyle email list.
Which of my customers will receive the email?
We will automatically send the email to all US customers who have placed an order on a Chalk Site in the last 4 months, to all new customers who order going forward, and to all Club Couture members, but please encourage all your customers, followers, and friends to subscribe as well.

Can recipients opt-out of the newsletter if they choose?
Of course! Subscribers can manage their email/communication preferences by clicking the link at the bottom of any Chalk Couture email they receive.
How can I make sure my customers and potential customers receive the emails?
Encourage everyone to subscribe by sharing details in your social media feeds, VIP groups, your business cards, and in casual conversations with customers. There will be fun tutorials and meaningful information in every edition! Those interested can subscribe on the home page of your Chalk Site and/or at chalkcouture.com.
I’d like to know what my customers are seeing. Can I get a copy of the newsletter for myself?
Yes! Links to all ChalkStyle newsletters will be available in your Designer Office Resources Library.
Will there be any additional email sent from Chalk Central directly to customers?
We’re always looking for ways to support your marketing efforts and to make it easy for customers to shop for Chalk Couture products. For now, the ChalkStyle how-to email will be sent once a month beginning February 2022. We anticipate sending a second, more marketing and promotion-focused customer email each month beginning in April, depending on response rates.
