Chalk Couture welcomes Designers who wish to use our products to create and sell handmade items. This Angel Policy grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to sell finished projects/finished goods made using Chalk Couture products, subject to the following guidelines:
What You Can Do
Designers may create and sell completed, physical, handmade projects using Chalk Couture products, provided that:
- Handmade Only
All items must be personally created by you. Projects may not be mass-produced, factory-made, or produced in an assembly-line manner. - Finished Products/Goods Only
Only fully completed projects may be sold. Kits, supplies, partially completed items, or components (including Transfers or designs alone) may not be sold for others to assemble. - Use of Chalk Couture Products
Chalk Couture Transfers, surfaces, and other products must be used as intended to create a new, finished item. Designs may not be copied, reproduced, digitized, or redistributed in any form. - No Quantity Limits (Within Handmade Scope)
There is no set limit on the number of finished items you may sell, provided all items are individually handmade and comply with this policy. - Sales Channels
Finished projects may be sold in person (e.g., markets, events) or online, provided it is clear the items are handmade by you and not manufactured by Chalk Couture. - Brand Representation
You may state that Chalk Couture products were used, but you may not use Chalk Couture logos, trademarks, or branding in a way that suggests official partnership, endorsement, or that the finished product is a Chalk Couture product. - Compliance
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and business requirements.
What You May Not Do
- Reproduce, copy, or digitally replicate Chalk Couture designs or Transfers
- Create logos, trademarks, or branding using Chalk Couture designs
- Mass-produce items or outsource production
- Sell digital files, templates, or reproductions of Chalk Couture designs
Licensed Product Exclusions
Notwithstanding the permissions above:
Finished projects created using Chalk Couture licensed designs or collaborations may NOT be sold under any circumstances.
This includes, but is not limited to, any products featuring intellectual property owned by third-party licensors, such as:
- Disney (including Mickey & Friends, Winnie the Pooh, Disney Princesses, etc.)
- Warner Bros. (including DC Comics, Harry Potter, Friends, etc.)
- Peanuts Worldwide LLC
- Any other licensed brand, character, or collaboration released by Chalk Couture now or in the future
These products are for personal use only and are excluded from this Angel Policy regardless of quantity or format.
General Terms
Chalk Couture reserves the right to modify or revoke this policy at any time. By creating and selling items under this policy, you assume all responsibility and agree to indemnify Chalk Couture from any claims arising from your work.
