CLUB COUTURE SUBSCRIBER BENEFITS AND EXPERIENCE

What is included in Club Couture?
Subscribers receive the following:

  • A free Mini Squeegee with the first shipped Club Couture order.
  • Free shipping on monthly Club Couture Transfer, accessory, and color.
  • An exclusive B-sized Transfer that is designed to be on trend, in season, and one of our hottest styles—that isn’t available ANYWHERE other than Club Couture. Retail value is $16 USD/$21 CAD.
  • A coordinating accessory with every monthly project.
  • Coordinating Chalkology Paste or Ink Single(s) to help create a darling finished project. 
  • Access to the how-to video for the project and instruction sheet (printable PDF), emailed to them each month.

What does “exclusive Chalk Transfer design” mean?
This Transfer design is not sold individually through Chalk Sites,  or any other public-facing medium, meaning these designs are only available for Club Couture subscribers. We design the best Transfers for Club Couture! 

How much does Club Couture cost?

Retail Price: $21.99 USD / $27.99 CAD

Perks Member Price:  $17.19 USD / $21.69 CAD

How can my customer subscribe to Club Couture?
To enroll, your retail customer or Perks Member will want to visit your Chalk Site and select the “Join Club Couture” tab on the top navigation bar. (Perks Members will need to be logged in to their account to subscribe at their discounted pricing.)

The initial enrollment requires a 3-month commitment. The customer's first month’s subscription will be charged at the time of enrollment and will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days following their enrollment. After the initial 3-month commitment, your customer will continue to be billed each month and may cancel at any time. If your customer cancels and wants to re-subscribe, they will be required to commit to another 3-month enrollment.

Does the month of enrollment count toward their commitment? What if my customer enrolls halfway through the month?
Yes. Their subscribing shipment counts as their first month. For example, if your customer joins on February 16, their first-month subscription will ship right away (counting as month one). They will then be billed on March 5 for their second month and so on.

Can my customer add anything to their initial subscription purchase?
Yes! Retail customers can add additional items to their initial purchase and subscription agreement. If they add any other products, the retail customer flat-rate shipping ($8.99 USD/$13.99 CAD) will apply. If they do not add any additional products to their order, their initial Club Couture subscription will be sent to them with no shipping charge.

How much is shipping for Club Couture every month?
Shipping for the monthly Club Couture delivery is FREE!

Can a subscriber gift a month's shipment to someone else?
Yes! The gifting window runs the 1st (at 12:01 am MT) through the 4th (at 11:59 pm MT) of each month. The “Gift to a Friend” option will be found on the customer’s “Subscriptions” tab under “My Account”. When selected, an address section will open with the following fields: first name, last name, mailing address, email, and phone number. Once the form is properly completed and submitted, that month's shipment will be sent to the recipient. The subscriber’s credit card on file will be charged as normal.

Once the order has been successfully processed on the 5th of the month, an email will be sent to the intended gift recipient letting them know. An additional email will be sent to the Club Couture subscriber to let them know everything has been successfully processed.

Shipments can be gifted without limit and will count toward a subscriber’s required 3-month commitment. Shipments can only be shared with mailing addresses in the country where the subscriber resides (US or Canada).

What happens if my Club Couture subscriber becomes a Perks Member?
When a subscribing customer becomes a Perks Member, their Club Couture subscription will be billed at the Perks Member price, starting with their next billing.

What happens if my Club Couture subscriber becomes a Designer?
When a subscriber becomes a Designer, their Club Couture subscription will be billed at the Designer price, starting with their next billing. 

What happens if a subscriber’s credit card is declined for their billing?
If a subscriber’s credit card is declined, the system will continue attempting to charge the card until successful. If the charge is unsuccessful after multiple attempts, the subscription will be paused and the shipment will not be sent.

  • For US subscribers: The subscriber will be emailed to update the card on file, and when successfully completed, they can pay for the subscription(s) that was declined.
  • For Canadian subscribers: The subscriber will be emailed to update the card on file. After the third failed attempt at charging the credit card on file, that month’s shipment will be forfeited, even if the subscriber updates their credit card information at a later date. Once the payment method is updated, the subscription will resume as usual the following month.

What if my subscriber wants to cancel?
Subscribers may cancel any time after the initial three months. In this unlikely event, they must cancel before the 5th. Cancellations on or after the 5th of the month are too late to honor for that month’s shipment. However, the subscription will end after that shipment. Remind them that if they ever want to re-enroll, they will be required to commit to another 3-month enrollment.

How does my subscriber cancel?
If your subscriber chooses to cancel their subscription, they can do so by logging in to their account. From there, under their account settings, they can click “Club Couture”. Once they meet the qualifications to cancel, there will be a “Cancel Subscription” button that they can select.

How much does Club Couture cost and what sales commissions are paid?

Retail Price: $21.99 USD / $27.99 CAD; 9.60PV, 25% deferred commission ($4 USD / $5.25 CAD)

Perks Member Price:  $17.19 USD / $21.69 CAD; 9.60PV, 15% deferred commission ($2.40 USD/ $3.15 CAD)

Designer Price: $15.59 USD / $19.59 CAD; 9.60PV

How can Designers participate in the Club Couture program?

Designers have two options to participate in the Club Couture program. 

1) Designers may subscribe to Club Couture and receive an automatic monthly shipment (including the exclusive Transfer, coordinating accessory, and Chalkology color(s)) in the exact manner the program is enjoyed by retail customers and Perks Members who subscribe. Discounted Designer pricing applies for Club Couture subscriptions. Designers who subscribe to the program are required to complete the same initial 3-month commitment that is required of  all other subscribers. 

Effective August 2024, starting on the 6th day of each month, Designers who are subscribed to Club Couture and place a qualifying order may elect to be billed immediately for the next month’s exclusive shipment in order to receive it early. 

2) Designers may purchase each monthly Club Couture delivery (exclusive Transfer, coordinating accessory, and Chalkology color(s)) in their Designer Office, while supplies last. One-time purchase Club Couture collections are available in the Designer Office beginning on the 15th of the month during which the collection is released, assuming inventory is available. One-time purchases are included in regular Designer Office orders and are not subject to shipping charges (meaning the weight of the Club collection is not included in the weight-based shipping calculation). Design Dollars may be used towards one-time purchases. Limit 1 per Designer account per month.

Can a Designer apply Design Dollars to the cost of Club Couture if it is included in an order?

No. Design Dollars may be applied to any other items on your order, but they cannot be used for Club Couture.

How can a Designer receive the next month’s shipment in advance? 

Starting on the 6th day of each month, when a Designer who is subscribed to Club Couture places an order, they will be given the option to add the next month’s Club shipment to the order in process. As a result, the next month’s Club delivery will be shipped immediately and the Designer will not be billed for Club Couture during the month in which it is officially released.

If no action is taken by the end of the month, the next month’s shipment will be billed and shipped according to Club Couture’s standard billing cycle. 

Is the price for Club Couture the same if a Designer elects to have it included in an order?

Yes. The price for the monthly subscription is always the same.

Can a Designer elect to receive next month’s shipment in advance within the same month they initially subscribe to Club Couture?

No. The option to get advance shipments of Club Couture deliveries is not available on the first month of a new subscription. 

Do Designers need to place an order every month in order to receive the next month’s shipment in advance? 

Yes. This is a recurring action you must take each month. 

Can customers and Perks Members subscribed to Club Couture elect to receive shipments in advance?

No. This benefit is only available to Designers who have active subscriptions to Club Couture. 

What happens if a Designer leaves Chalk Couture and has Club Couture subscribers?
Club Couture subscribers will “roll up” to the former Designer’s Advisor (in the month following the effective cancellation date). That adoptive Designer will then continue to receive PV and commission for the ongoing subscription transactions.

Is there a way I can track the number and activity of my customers subscribing to Club Couture?
Yes. In your Designer Office, you’ll find a Club Couture subscriber list that includes their name, ID, status, email, phone, and join date. If you want to see any accounts canceled or paused, you will need to filter for that information. You’ll have the option to export with additional information included.

Club Couture subscriptions are also recorded in the “Sales” tab in your Designer Office. They will look similar to website sales, but they will be tagged with “Recurring Order” as the order type.
