How many Designers are in my area? In the company?
We’re a fast-growing company with Designers in all 50 states and in Canada. We’re privately held, so we do not disclose financials or Designer numbers.
Can Designers sell Chalk Couture in a fixed retail location?
Yes! Designers can get approved to sell Chalk Couture products (Transfers, paste/ink, surfaces, etc.) in fixed retail locations by applying. You will need to be approved for any physical location lasting more than 14 days or the duration of an expo/public event.
Designers are allowed to sell finished projects in fixed retail locations and online without prior approval (including Etsy, eBay, and other external websites).
What is the Designer Access Pass fee?
US citizens can become a Designer for a one-time activation fee of $9.99. This one-time activation fee provides access to preferred pricing and the Chalk Couture community. New Designers can also enroll with a Perks Pack to join with a head start of extra products!
Canadian citizens can activate their Designership at no cost.
What is the monthly $20 USD/CAD fee for?
This $20 USD/CAD (plus tax where required) Access Pass fee covers all the benefits and perks of being a Designer! This includes full access to Designer pricing, access to Design Studio (Chalk Couture’s creative community), Designer Office, a Chalk Site for simple online sales, Designer support and training, and so much more!
Is the Designer Access Pass required for all Designers?
No. Canadian Designers, and US Designers living in Indiana, Minnesota, Hawaii, Maryland, and North Dakota may opt out of the Designer Access Pass if they choose. Those who opt out are considered Designers in good standing, but will not have full access to Designer Office, a Chalk Site, the Chalk Shop by Square App, and will not receive the monthly Club Couture Transfer. They also may not participate in the Add-In Program for Club Couture or any other marketing promotion that uses the Add-In Program. What is a Starter Kit?
A Starter Kit is the best way for newly enrolling Designers and Perks Members to get their hands on seasonal products at an even deeper discount! The contents of a Starter Kit are subject to change based on new product releases and availability.

How does a new Designer get 15% off one Designer-priced order?
When a new Designer logs in to their Designer Office, they will see a coral-colored 15% off Designer price coupon code at the top of the page. Create your order and enter the coupon code during checkout for the additional discount.. After an order is placed with the discount, the banner will disappear. Personal Volume (PV) credit for the order will be adjusted to reflect the one-time discount.
Can the new Designer wait and use the one-time 15% off discount on a different order than their first one?
Yes. The newly enrolled Designer has up to 60 calendar days to use their discount. If they have already applied it to an order, they will see a checkbox that turns the discount on or off. Simply uncheck the box to turn off the discount for the order. The discount is only valid for one order and cannot be split across multiple purchases.

What is the "Chalk Spot" product line?
The Chalk Spot is a new product line offering budget-friendly, unfinished surfaces designed to perfectly coordinate with Chalk Couture Transfers. These surfaces are offered at a significantly lower price point to make chalking more accessible.
What kind of surfaces are available in the Chalk Spot?
You can expect to find a variety of simple, unfinished surfaces, in basic shapes. They are specifically chosen to be easy to work with and highly versatile for quick, impactful projects. Some will be sold in 2-Packs and larger options individually.
Why are these surfaces priced so low?
The low price point is a strategic decision to make Chalk Couture more affordable and approachable, especially for new customers. It serves as an enticing entry point, allowing more people to try Chalk Couture without a significant initial investment, ultimately broadening our customer base and helping you grow your business.
Is there an additional discount on Chalk Spot items for Perks Members and Designers?
No. Because the price points are so low, the Perks Member discount does not apply. Designer pricing is based on Designer Equivalency, meaning Designer pricing takes the 25% instant commission earned on retail sales into consideration.
Where can I find Chalk Spot products on the website?
The Chalk Spot items will have a dedicated category in the website’s “SHOP” navigation, making them easy for both you and your customers to find and add to orders.
Do Chalk Spot purchases count towards PV (Personal Volume)?
Yes! All Chalk Spot purchases contribute to your Personal Volume and generate a 25% instant commission. To keep the price points low, these items do not carry CV (Commissionable Volume).
